Meet Bountiful Chiropractor
Dr. Clint J. Grover D.C., C.C.E.P
Dr. Clint J. Grover, Chiropractic Physician, graduated from Palmer Chiropractic College in 2010. Dr. Grover has studied upper cervical chiropractic throughout his doctorate training and is excited to offer life giving care with NUCCA. He also completed his CCEP, which is a Certified Chiropractic Extremity Practitioner. His brother, Dr. Loren Grover, is a NUCCA practitioner in Salt Lake City, Utah and has inspired him from the beginning of his career. He is licensed in Utah as Chiropractic Physician and is a primary care provider. He is board certified through NBCE, the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners.
As an avid athlete, Dr. Grover enjoys running and cycling. He uses both the Chi Running and Pose Method of running, which is “barefoot” style. It puts less shock on your system and less wear and tear on the joints to prevent injury. One of the craziest things he has done besides the running in the Marine Corps Marathon in Washington DC, was LOTOJA, a 206 mile bike race over 3 mountain ranges ending in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. He loves working with athletes and performing artists. He and his wife currently play in a local folk rock band, the Flat Canyon Band as well as the Salt Lake Symphony.
Dr. Grover completed his undergraduate degree in Music, playing the String Bass, at Utah State University in Logan, Utah, where he grew up. He has recently played in groups in Iowa and Illinois, the Clinton Symphony Orchestra, Nauvoo Orchestra, Quad City Music Guild as an assistant conductor, and the St. Ambrose University Community Orchestra, where he originally met his wonderful wife, Alissa. She is a French horn player. They were married in 2008 and live in Bountiful, Utah. “Dr. Ali” is also a chiropractor and is currently on staff at the Animal Care Clinic in West Bountiful, Utah as an animal chiropractor. She also travels to barns to care for larger animal patients like horses.
Dr. Grover feels very strongly that everyone should be able to have their spine checked, and that the nervous system needs the proper care for it to be able to take care of you.

Meet Animal Chiropractor
Dr. Alissa Grover
Dr. Alissa Grover (“Dr. Ali”) graduated Valedictorian of her class from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa, where the chiropractic profession was founded. She completed an additional 220-hours of continuing education on animal chiropractic from Parker College of Chiropractic in Dallas, Texas. She is a certified animal chiropractor by the American Veterinary Chiropractic Association (AVCA). Currently, Dr. Ali is one of only a handful of AVCA-certified doctors in the entire state of Utah. Also a certified Reiki master, Dr. Ali enjoys using energy work and kinesiology testing in addition to chiropractic.
Dr. Ali did her internship at Noah’s Ark Chiropractic in Geneseo, Illinois, a unique human-and-animal chiropractic practice. There she trained with Dr. Shanie Cahill, one of the leading animal chiropractors in the field. Dr. Ali and her husband moved to Utah in the spring of 2013 and she has worked at the Animal Care Center ever since. Dr. Ali loves working with animals and being able to offer a holistic approach to healing. She feels right at home at the Animal Care Center, where traditional veterinary medicine and alternative therapies are used cooperatively based on the best needs of the patient.
Dr. Ali has an alter ego as a musician, and she has a Bachelor of Music from the University of Iowa in music performance and education. She taught public school band for one year before deciding to become an animal chiropractor. Highlights of her musical career include winning the Drum Corps International Championship with the Blue Devils Drum and Bugle Corps in 2007 as a mellophone player, and playing her French horn with the Mannheim Steamroller Orchestra in 2011. Dr. Ali met her husband, Dr. Clint Grover (also a chiropractor and musician) while playing in the Quad City Community Symphony Orchestra together. They enjoy playing in a Flat Canyon Band, a rock group with several of the other Animal Care Center employees, and can be heard at social events throughout the community. Dr. Ali and Dr. Clint also play with the Salt Lake Symphony on a regular basis.
Although she misses her hometown of Davenport, Iowa, Dr. Ali loves the Mountain West and all of the outdoor activities that go along with it. Her and her husband enjoy going on hikes with their miniature schnauzers, Wiley, Lily & Maycee.
Dr. Ali is living her dream by working with the wonderful veterinarians, staff, and patients at the Animal Care Center, South Valley Large Animal Clinic, and Powder Paws. She also enjoys traveling throughout Utah to adjust horses, dogs, cats, and other animals.
